• The Jasmine Connection (Mallige): The variety beautifully derives its name from the local word “Mallige” (Jasmine). This unique name is inspired by its initial spike budding and flower clustering, which intensely mimic the compact, dense structure of pristine jasmine buds.

• Compact & Densely Packed Spikes: Unlike some traditional pepper varieties that suffer from loose, sparse berry spacing, Malligesara produces striking spikes averaging around 10–11 cm in length that are heavily clustered with highly compact berries.

• Bold Berries & High Bulk Density: The peppercorns develop a distinctively medium-to-bold size. When dried, they exhibit excellent weight and superior bulk density, making this variety highly profitable for weight-based commercial markets.
